Autumn on Dartmoor - Hexworthy & Dartmeet - Fig of 8 - Sunday 1st Nov 2026

This stunning figure-of-8 walk includes magnificent views and has a welcome Inn at the half way point. 
 
We begin at Dartmeet where the road bridge dates back to 1792 but it has a medieval clapper bridge predecessor, similar to that at Postbridge. 
 
Combestone Tor is a fine granite outcrop which is well worth the short climb for it's splendid views across much of the moor before taking in the hamlets of Hexworthy and Huccaby including the quaint St Raphael's chapel. 
 
This 7 miles walk then finishes back at Dartmeet.
