Solo Traveller Walking Weekend - Spring in Wiltshire - 18th & 19th Apr 26
We are pleased to put on this superb spring getaway aimed at solo travellers (but not exclusively) to the rolling Wiltshire countryside.
The county is known for its picturesque villages, rolling hills and rich history offering a blend of natural beauty and cultural attractions with almost half of the county being designated a National Landscape (formerly AONB).
WALK 1 - Starting in the historic market town of Warminster on the edge of Salisbury Plain, walkers will take in Battlesbury Hill, Middle Hill, Scratchbury Hill and Cotley Hill before completing the 6 miler in the village of Heytesbury.
WALK 2 - A flat 3 mile route around the impressive 14th Century Old Wardour Castle famed for its appearance in the 1991 blockbuster Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
Walkers will then make their way to the medieval cathedral city of Salisbury to check into the comfort of their own double room.
There will be the option to join in on a group evening meal with your guide and fellow walkers.
The weekend is also open to couples and friends who are happy to share a room.
