Two walks, two stunning locations!

If you’re torn between the fresh sea air and views of rugged coastlines or the wild moors and tors of Dartmoor, then look no further.

The genius of this two dayer is that it literally has the best of both worlds.

This portion of the South Devon coastline offers the chance to visit hidden gems like Westcombe Beach and Ayrmer Cove, only accessible by foot.

Also included is Burgh Island with its iconic art deco hotel situated on this tidal island opposite Bigbury on Sea and Bantham Beach.

Dartmoor is one of Britain’s last great areas of wilderness, famous for its large granite tors and far reaching views over rugged upland moorland. This 5 mile circular walk starts and finishes at Two Bridges Hotel, an 1800th Century coaching inn set in the heart of Dartmoor on the West Dart river. Wistmans Wood is like entering a scene from The Hobbit! It covers 3 hectares and is famous for its twisted and weathered dwarf trees, covered in mosses and lichens. The trees are mainly oak with some mountain ash, hollies along with ground plants such as bilberry and woodrush. Walkers get the added bonus of taking in Crokern Tor, Littaford Tors and Longaford Tor. The perfect wild walk followed by a well earned Devon cream tea back Two Bridges Hotel.
