The Black Mountains form the eastern region of the Brecon Beacons and are home to some breathtaking scenery with their huge glacial valleys and long ridges. They are also significantly quieter than their neighbouring peaks. 
 
So why not kick off the May Day Bank Holiday weekend with a decent look at this area starting and finishing at the 900 year old magnificent medieval landmark of Llanthony Priory.
